Join us for a ½ day mini retreat and experience the gentle yet transformative power of meditation.
We all want to experience true happiness and freedom from problems every day of our life. Instead of constantly trying to achieve this through external means alone, we can actually achieve this through the transformation of our mental state. Through meditation we calm the busyness of the mind, experience a purer form of happiness from within, and channel our thoughts and actions in a meaningful direction.
However, meditation is not confined to a quiet time alone or in group. Meditation is a practice that we can carry into daily life. If we carry a mindfulness of peace and positive intention into driving, working, and conversation, we can transform all of these things. In this way we can gradually transform our entire life into a spiritual path, coming to find the peace, happiness, and meaning we desire.
This special ½ retreat, led by American Buddhist Monk Gen Kelsang Menla, will give you everything you need to start, refresh, or improve a meditation practice. It is perfect for beginners and those with some experience alike.
