Karma and Reincarnation ~ Understanding the Why and How of Everyday Life
With Gen Kelsang Menla
Saturday, September 8, 10:00am – 4:00pm @BKBC
Karma is a special instance of the universal law of cause and effect that is related to our mind, actions, and experiences. By seeing how karma and reincarnation are intertwined we can broaden our perspective on life and what comes next. Through gaining insight into these fundamental Buddhist views we can live with greater confidence and purpose now and chart a course for future happiness and success.
Open minded, open hearted, and inquisitive? Join American Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Menla and like minded friends from West Texas for an enlightening and inspiring day of meditation, teachings from Buddha, and spiritual community. We welcome everyone regardless of background or belief.
Gen Kelsang Menla was ordained as a Kadampa Buddhist monk in 2001 and has taught Kadampa Buddhism since that time. He brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.
