In these modern times, our lives have become so busy and our minds are easily exhausted, stress and tension have become our normal state of being. The possibility of mental clarity and lasting inner peace and happiness can feel far-fetched and out of reach. However, it is not!
In this day retreat, Buddhist Teacher David Shea will guide us in meditations and teachings that will enable us to gain access to the peaceful stillness and spaciousness within our own mind. These meditations come from Buddha’s ancient teachings, but are still very relevant and important today to help us cope with the busyness and stress of our everyday lives. Meditation on the sky-like mind is a simple practice for modern people who are in need of authentic tools to develop and maintain a lasting peace of mind.
This retreat is suitable for people who are new to meditation. If you would like to learn meditation, this is a wonderful opportunity. For those with experience, this retreat will also provide a meaningful opportunity to meditate on the mind. We look forward to seeing you here. Everyone welcome!

*We will gather for lunch at a nearby restaurant, or people can go have lunch on their own during the break.
