Beyond Ordinary Relationships: Developing Unconditional Love
Half-Day Retreat with Gen Kelsang Wangpo
Saturday, May 10, 10:00am – 1:00pm
In recognition of Mother’s Day, we are having a special workshop about love, because it is often said that a mother’s love is unconditional and Buddha explains how important it is to learn to love unconditionally. We all can learn to develop unconditional love without being a mom. Everyone has the potential for limitless love. We just need to learn how to overcome obstacles to loving others, and the techniques for loving unconditionally.
Gen Kelsang Wangpo, Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at KMC Texas in Dallas will be making a trip out to Lubbock to share these meaningful teachings. Gen Wangpo is known for his practical approach to presenting ancient Buddhist wisdom. He is deeply appreciated for his clear, inspiring teachings and his ability to connect with others through loving-kindness and compassionate care.
