Echoes of Now: Karma and Rebirth Explored
Have you ever looked at a situation in your life and simply wondered, “Why Me?” or “Why is this happening?” You’re not alone in trying to make sense of experiences and situations in life. But making sense of the ever-changing landscapes of our life is difficult. Why is this? Because we tend to look at life through a microscopic lens when, in fact, it unfolds on a much larger scale.
In this series, we will explore two concepts that Buddha explained as the driving forces of our experiences – Karma and Reincarnation. Come with an open mind, and you will discover a new perspective that helps you make sense of life in the grander scheme of things. With an understanding of karma and rebirth, we have tools that help us keep a peaceful heart. And don’t worry about absorbing it all once – There will be a lot of practical advice that you can use immediately.
Class format:
20 minutes guided breathing meditation
40 minute teaching
10 minute guided meditation on the teaching
10 minutes discussion
