Creating Happiness, The Art of Peaceful Living with Buddhist Teacher, David Shea
Saturday, January 25, 10:00am – 1:00pm
In this course we will learn how training in the mind of cherishing others not only creates happiness and inner peace within our own mind, but how it also has the power to transform our relationships and the environment of our daily lives. Meditating on cherishing love is the foundation for all other spiritual realizations. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso states in his book How to Transform Your Life, “the path to enlightenment is rather simple, all we need to do is change the object of cherishing from ourself to others. All other spiritual realizations will naturally arise from this.”
David Shea is a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been studying Kadampa Buddhist for 16 years, and has been teaching meditation classes since 2005. He is known for his heartfelt teachings and his example as a dedicated Buddhist practitioner.
