The Power of Meditation and Imagination with Gen Kelsang Menla
Saturday, June 25, 10am – 1pm
Imagination is an important part of any meditation practice. Through meditation and our imagination we can open up our mind to new possibilities of mental peace, loving kindness and grow our own spiritual realizations. We can use meditation to grow into the best version of ourselves, and to make our life truly meaningful for ourself and our ability to benefit others.
Gen Kelsang Menla will introduce special meditations using the power of our imagination to help us develop our supreme good heart and to help us become a more kind and loving person.
No experience is necessary and people from all backgrounds are welcome.
Gen Kelsang Menla has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years and was requested by him to become the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Texas in June 2017. Gen Menla was ordained as a Kadampa Buddhist monk in 2001 and has worked and taught within the New Kadampa Tradition for many years. He brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.
