Many people instinctively understand the value of meditation practice- the peace, health, and happiness that it brings. But with our mind so full of uncontrolled busy thoughts it can seem that meditation is impossible and that first we need to get into a better frame of mind before we can meditate. Or maybe we’ve tried after watching something online but didn’t really know what to do or if we were doing it right. All of these experiences are common when first starting off and are nothing to be discouraged. By receiving clear instructions and guidance, and being patient and determined everyone can learn to meditate- even you!
What Will You Learn?
In this mini-retreat you will be led in three simple meditations that everyone can do. You’ll be taught the 4 steps of meditation, which will give you success- the experience of a more calm, clear and peaceful mind. You will also learn a special technique to use distracting thoughts to bring you back home to a peaceful state of mind.
Is This For Me?
If you’ve never meditated before or if you’ve had some experience already, this mini-retreat is a perfect opportunity to learn how to meditate well. You will leave equipped with what you need to know and having gained some special feeling from the retreat you will be more confident that you can do it!
